Georgia Rehabilitation Outreach, Inc. (GRO) is a private, non-profit, comprehensive behavior health system designed to treat and assist people with serious persistent mental illness manage or eliminate their symptoms and regain their maximum level of functioning in community living. Many of the persons served, by GRO, have co-occurring addictive diseases, developmental disabilities and medical problems. We specialize in engaging and establishing a therapeutic alliance with these individuals who typically do not follow up with traditional mental health programs, lack the ability to access community resources or have a limited support network. GRO is governed by a Board of Directors, Georgia Department of Human Resources and other regulatory authorities.

Founded in 1998 by Shirley S. Hamilton, the company's focus is on psychiatric rehabilitation, offering an array of services that are flexible, accessible and consumer choice driven. Programs include Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Community Support Team (CST), Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Residential Rehabilitative Supports and Peer Supports.
