Team Coordinator
Description of Duties
This position is responsible for providing clinical and administrative supervision, coordination, consultation and facilitation of an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. This person will be responsible for the direct supervision of 8-10 professional and paraprofessional staff that will provide intensive treatment and outreach services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and who may have other co-occurring medical and social challenges. The services are provided in the communities where persons live. The Team Coordinator must provide a high performance environment characterized by positive leadership and a strong team orientation.
Qualifications
The candidate must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Georgia State Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists. They must have five years of experience in community mental health with a minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity. The candidate must be able to multi-task, work with teams, have excellent organizational and communication skills and judgment and must be a licensed driver in the good standing in the state of Georgia.
